Even before I learned to walk, I loved stories.
My mother tells tales of reading to me for hours. When she grew tired, I still asked for more. As I grew and could read alone, I immersed myself in far-away adventures, hair-raising mysteries, tragic romances, and even inspiring non-fiction about heroes and heroines I wanted to emulate.
When I learned to write, I wrote as often as I read. As I grew up, I realized that I could capture the hearts and souls of others through the words on a page. I could take people’s victories, failures, struggles, and wisdom and share it all with the world. I could help them feel seen, be heard, and make a difference.
Although my writing matured, I never outgrew that childish wonder. It’s what makes me a great communicator. Relentless curiosity allows me to interview and explore all the possibilities with others. We get to the soul of the matter at hand. Then, together, we craft a tale that makes an impact.
Companies have a heart and soul, too. My job isn’t only to increase revenue. I help the organization find its soul and then help share that soul with the rest of the world.
I view the world through a writer’s lens. Everyone has a story, and everyone longs to be understood. I’m passionate about creative communication across all mediums. Film, theatre, writing, group and interpersonal interactions, and even marketing are all chances to share the stories of individuals so that their experiences can be a part of something bigger than themselves. I am a storyteller, and as romantic as it may seem, my stories will change the world.
